캐나다 동쪽 끝 작은 섬 프린스 에드워드 아일랜드의 북쪽 해변에는 소설의 배경이 되었던 그린 게이블즈, 유령의 숲, 반짝이는 호수 등 Anne을 추억할 수 있는 장소들이 실제로 곳곳에 존재하고 있습니다. 또한, 작가 몽고메리의 생가, [빨강머리 앤]을 집필했던 집터와 그녀가 가르쳤던 학교는 물론이고, 그녀의 여러 소설에 영감을 주었던 친척 집이 지금은 [빨강머리 앤 박물관]으로 남아있습니다. 또한 프린스 에드워드 아일랜드의 주도인 샬럿타운의 곳곳에서도 [빨강머리 앤]을 만날 수 있습니다.

This is the story of the author’s traveling to the Prince Edward Island of Canada, the place where [Anne of Green Gables] is based on, with her drawings of the place.
On the island exists the Green Gables, Haunted Wood, Lake of Shining Waters and all the other treasured places that breathes life into your best memories of Anne. In addition to them lies the Author Lucy Maud Montgomery’s Birthplace, Site of Montgomery’s Cavendish Home, the school she taught in, and her relative’s home which gave her many of the inspirations for her book now turned into the Anne of Green Gables Museum. Here on this island you will be able to meet Anne almost everywhere including Charlottetown, the main city of Prince Edward Island,
The author published this book, writing the story and drawing paintings based on her travels there in May 2016. All readers will be welcomed on this journey following the footsteps pf everyone’s dear childhood friend Anne
